Grenade News Blog

We're feeling loved by our good friends over at StrictlyFitteds.com.  We appreciate all the kind words they've been saying about our Grenade X New Era caps.  Here's their words from their latest post:

GRENADE, the snowboarding brand, is back with a new fitted for all their fans. The “Device” fitted comes in two colorways: Yellow and Red. They both feature a Grey embroidered grenade on the front panel. The colorways are similar, but not too much. The Yellow hat has a Grey front panel and a Black back panel with a Yellow brim, while the Red one has a Black front panel and a Red brim and back panel. You can get yours from http://www.tactics.com

From Grenade Army Solider #20, Edwin Marron:

We can't thank the Grenade family enough for an awesome weekend. The whole crew treated us like family and made sure we had a great time. I know that as cops we really aren't the "Type" of guys that would be hanging out with snowboarders... but we are snowboarders! Danny, The Dingo and Tom Tom are genuine guys who have never been anything but cool with us. I think the fact that we're fans of the brand kind of makes it a novelty.

I am the Captain of the LAPD snowboard team and we compete in the Police and Fire Olympics every March at Mammoth. I mentioned my trip to The Dingo and he was cool enough to provide me with a box of gear that I gave out as prizes to the race winners. Here's some photos of us representing as best as we could!

Thanks Again,

                      Edwin Marron

From The Dingo (5/22/2011):

In the past couple of days the Grenade crew has gone Viking.  Thats right!  We headed deep into Viking territory where we became a part of the GUDVANGEN Viking town.  This is a living replica of a Viking village that's dated back to approximately 900 AD.

...And that we did!!  Over the past couple of days we dressed, ate, partied, played games, rowed, and even slept like Vikings.

The waterfall you see here is on the Flåm Railway and is named the KJOSFOSSEN WATERFALL.  Tom Tom took us to the world famous train station of MYRDAL which is 866 meters above sea level.

After we conquered the quest of becoming Vikings we moved south where we met up to hang out with Tom Tom's family.  We even got to spend a night with the world famous black metal Thorwegien himself, Thor.

Also our local slave!!!  She taught us the ways of the Vikings and brought us to a magical cave.

We are now in OSLO, NORWAY where tomorrow we'll embark towards DUBAI.  There we'll meet back up with General Kass to take over the streets!!!  Be on the lookout for DUBAI Grenade Games!!!

From Grenade General Danny Kass:

GRENADE LOVES NORWAY

IF THERE IS ONE THING WE LOVE AT GRENADE IT'S SNOWBOARDING, SKATEBOARDING, AND LETS BE HONEST, HOT BLONDE WOMEN.

THE 17TH OF MAY IS NORWAY'S CELEBRATION OF THEIR INDEPENDENCE FROM SWEDEN. THIS DAY BRINGS EVERYBODY OUT WITH GREAT SPIRITS. THIS WAS MY SECOND TIME AND I WOULD RECOMMEND ATTENDING THIS AT ANY COST. I KNOW THERE WILL BE A THIRD IN THE FUTURE FOR ME.

WE STARTED THE DAY IN THE PARADE WHICH WOULD ALLOW US TO REACH THE CASTLE. THERE THE KING WAS MORE THAN GRACIOUS TO WAVE AT US. HE POINTED US IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION OF A TRADITONAL PLACE TO CELEBTRATE. WE SPENT THE REST OF THE DAY AT THE BAR IN TGI FRIDAYS.

THANKS TO MADS JONNSON, THE PRINCE OF NORWAY, FOR TAKING US AROUND, AND OUR SKATER TOM TOM FOR BRINGING THE LADIES.

VIVA LA NORWAY
